Faculty Committee
The Faculty Committee of the CS&E program is responsible for admissions, program development, curriculum, and overall program quality. The current members of the faculty committee are:
- Phillip Merkey (Math and Computer Science)
- Warren Perger (Electrical Engineering)
- Robert Nemiroff (Physics)
- Franz Tanner (Mathematical Sciences)

Students interested in working in a particular application area should look at the faculty list of the MTU department closest to that area to identify faculty members who share their interests. Any member of the graduate faculty at MTU may serve as primary research advisors or advisory committee members for students in the CS&E program.
